There are many apps that can help to realize the model of flipped classroom among which I like Nearpod the most.
Nearpod is a tool which allows teachers to create engaging, interactive presentations. It’s packed with great activities and tools.Teachers can create a presentation which is then viewed by students on their mobile devices. Students can interact via their mobile devices, whether they are in the classroom or not. This allows for creating engaging, dynamic and interactive lessons, as well as potential distance learning opportunities.
The following is a tutorial video about how to use Nearpod to flip your classroom.

As we all know, there is no "one size fits all" approach to teaching and learning. Then, what should educators do in order to provide tailored content based on students' real needs? Fortunately, with the integration of technology, such as flipped classroom, teachers are allowed to provide a personalized, engaging learning experience for every student -- whatever their learning style, pace, or ability.
The following video explains the concept of flipping classroom vividly and it may offer you some insights about this teaching approach.

I really like the idea of flipped classroom, which allows students to watch the teachers’ video lectures wherever and whenever they want to as long as they have access to the Internet. In this way, students can control their own learning pace and therefore can become into more active learners. I also think Nearpod is beneficial to both teaching and learning in terms of promoting teaching efficiency and enhancing students’ engagement. I believe Nearpod would be especially effective in large size classrooms (e.g. in China there are 40-50 students in one class) where teachers do not have the energy and time to response to each student’s special need. That’s because Nearpod enables teachers to know each student’s engagement and to collect every student’s data and analyze them in a very fast manner, therefore teachers would know better every student’s special needs and then tutor them accordingly. Therefore, I highly recommend this app to teachers with large class and I believe both teachers and students would benefit from this teaching model.
